My very favorite Wichy picture. Say's it all doesn't it? I have been pretty lucky considering that there are no breeders out here in Colorado. The Norwich list has graciously let me join. I read all the posts religiously saving good advice from them in document files. I've been lucky to run into owners of pets at the Scottsdale horse show. They've let me pet and cuddle and fuss over their Wichys. That just galvanized my yearning for one. I keep track on the Dog Superintendent sites of which dogs are showing and winning. If there is a dog show here I check the judging program to see if there are any Wichys and then go to the show in hopes to see them and talk to the breeders. One breeder has primarily shown out here. He's been so sweet to me, very willing to talk up the breed, and rightfully so as his dogs are balanced, correct, and so sweet and playful. I thank him very much for having spent time with me, and knowing that if he shows up at a show, I'll be there at ringside waiting to gush over his dogs when he's through with classes. I watch all the dog shows on tv as well. Waiting to see which Norwich has made it to group, it's so fun wondering what that owner or breeder must be thinking seeing their dog on tv, in a big show that will make fans of the breed sit up and take notice. The breeders that do have web sites have taken great care to show their breed to it's best potential, I just love visiting them. The tips on nutrition, and exercise and especially grooming for the ring are the best. I wish that some day I can thank them all for all that I've learned. I would really like to thank the moderator for allowing me on the Wichy list, as she took the chance on someone who's had dogs all her life, but never a terrier, and saw that I could do this, and do it with zeal. Thanks, you rock! What do I want to do with these amazing little dogs? First off, have one to love, to take everywhere with my other dogs, and why not have the first Norwich with a tracking title? Who knows, the sky's the limit with these little guys!!!
