Our pride and joy..."Cory".

"I was born a poor curly black water dog"...Ch. Cory, I want my Applesauce.

Yes, those were the infamous words which made me pick him above all water dogs. Not only did he have a nose for Carp, which was fast becoming a staple for my Sheepdogs, and my partner Cheeves' canning business. But he could swim, drive and do maintenance on the boat, could repair nets, which he had to learn since he was adept at getting himself tangled in them. He's watchdog, butler, cook, and chief bottle washer, and a hell of a midwife to the bitches here at whelping time. Though we've only had a few litters, not much time with the fishing, canning, and running back and forth to town for parts for Cheeves' life long pursuit of the portable aqualung for man and beast, the pups have all been the epitome of health and damn good lookers too.

Cory went through a narcissistic period and decided he just had to show in confirmation. Well, he recruited me only after I told him if he wanted me to go he'd have to pick out my outfit and do my hair and makeup, he agreed, and so started our show careers with Porties.

He's gone Best of Breed a few times, had a few kids of which I kept a son, CJ, the boing, boing... whose also gone and become our newest champion. But this place is definitely run by the queen...Zuzu Petals, 20 some pounds of pure hell fire.

She and her Lady in Waiting,,the artist formally known as Mojo, who is in charge of keeping the queen in toys, are the divas of the house. But they always keep us in stitches with their poop art.

Alas, Cory, Cory, he's our man, the best fisherman! His son CJ is quite an accomplished swimmer as well but he is color blind and so he could not tell the fish from the fungi, we had to find him another job at the farm. So with his incredible boinging ability we put him to work in the orchard where he is now in charge of the of the harvesting of the fruit trees. And then they all get together in the kitchen and make Carp and Fruit Chutney...mmmm,mmmm.

As much as I enjoy the Porties my first canine helpers where the Sheepdogs. They came to me when I needed them the most, they could herd anything. My neighbors' Emus, guinea pigs, budgies, you name it. Introduced to me by Monks, they have been the mainstay of the farm, keeping all things where they are suppose to be, and they retrieve Cheeves every night and herd him off to bed. Sadly, there is only BOHSD here now, as Headley bit a buffalo in the butt, the buffalo filed charges, and the judge threw the book at him, making him an example. So he's now incarcerated down in Lamar. He's up for probation in two years.

Cheeves and I go about our daily business on our little farm out in Colorado, with our lovely dogs, cow, goats and birds and poultry. We live pretty quiet lives, we are Deacons at the Voodoo temple and we enjoy Parcheesi.
